Transportation - Senior Rides - Subsidized transportation is provided to seniors age 60 and above to necessary medical or employment activities, grocery shopping, prescription pick-up, etc.?? - Shuttle - Offers subsidized shuttle service to assist Charles County clients getting to and from the La Plata office, the local Department of Social Services, and the transportation access points. Other shuttle services can be offered to assist persons getting to and from various community and social resources. - Southern Maryland RIDES program provides residents with subsidized transportation to medical and employment-related activities throughout the D.C. region. - Rides must be scheduled 3 business days in advance. - Wheelchair lifts are available.
