Utility Assistance More information: - Maryland Energy Assistance Program provides financial help with home heating bills - Electric Universal Service Program pays a portion of electric bills and establishes budget billing plan - Arrearage Retirement Assistance helps with large past-due gas or electric bills - Utility Service Protection Program protects low-income families from utility shutoffs - Gas Arrearage Retirement Assistance helps with past-due gas bills - Offers referrals to weatherization programs
